Siza Coal Services has 1x vacancy for a Financial Manager in Centurion (Pretoria).

Requirements:
EDUCATION
❖ Minimum is a Diploma/Certificate related to Finance Management, Taxation of Auditing
❖ Mathematics and Accounting as subjects is preferred.
❖ B-Tech or Degree in Financial Management/Accounting/Taxation/Auditing
EXPERIENCE
❖ At least 2-3 years’ experience in the Finance/Taxation/Auditing environment/Field
❖ Knowledge of South African laws/legislation relating to taxation.
❖ Driver’s License (Code 08/10) – a must.
PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for maintaining financial control, accounting, administrative and personnel services to meet legislative
requirements. Responsible for the invoicing of customers monthly. Assist with running an economic, efficient and effective
financial management system and buying of SCS stock.

Responsibilities:
❖ Managing SCS Financial Accounting, Monitoring and Reporting Systems
❖ Keep abreast of changes in Financial Regulations and legislation
❖ Managing Budgets
❖ Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
❖ Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts e.g Auditors, Solicitors, bankers, statutory organizations such as Inland Revenue.
❖ A liaising with Auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
❖ Conduct internal audits if/when required
❖ Arranging new sources of Finance for SCS debt facilities
❖ Develop new financial policies and procedures where necessary
❖ Approving of some SCS Purchase orders
❖ Releasing and controlling payments domestic and offshore payments
❖ Prepare monthly Financial Statements to determine profits or Losses.
❖ Report on SCS Financial Performance
❖ Compiling Management Accounts to meet SCS stakeholders demands
❖ Ensure effective Financial Management of SCS
❖ Assist during Financial Statements preparations
❖ Advice SCS Management pertaining to matters that have strategic & Financial implications
❖ Manage all SCS Tax Return submissions to ensure they are all submitted and settled on time
❖ Take effective and appropriate steps to prevent any overspending
❖ Ensure availability of full records of SCS
❖ Report on any unauthorized and irregular expenditure that occurred during the company’s financial year.
❖ Submit a detailed report to the MD regarding breakdowns of expenditure and revenue
❖ Preparing and presenting written reports as and when required.
❖ Processing all monthly cashbooks
❖ Performing monthly bank reconciliation statements on all SCS Cashbooks
❖ Printing and filing monthly pastel reports
❖ Attending to all day-to-day financial needs of the company.
